When I first heard about ice cream with added protein I was super excited. If you are the kind of person who just can’t seem to cut out sweets, protein ice cream may be perfect for you. 

Of course, with or without the extra protein, ice cream isn’t the healthiest food choice. But, if you need to indulge occasionally, this is a happy medium that will supplement your workouts as well as satisfy your sweet tooth. 

You can buy ice cream with added protein in the supermarket, or make it in your own at home. Some companies sell powder, like protein powder, made specifically for homemade protein ice cream.
